I was born in Mexico City on August 4, 1984, they took me out with forceps and a double circular in the neck, it took me 12 hours to be born, my mother was 18 years old and it seems to me that she had had pizza for dinner the day before my birth, my father was 21 and had a deep interest in vinyl records, it is obvious that I was a product of adolescent love, my grandparents took care of us (my parents and I) until we were independent.

 

A couple of years later my mother and I took the Gilmore Girl road, we lived alone in an apartment where she was the bravest because she even let me have pets.

Years later (about 4) I discovered that drawing was the best of ideas and I did not stop doing it, my mother always asked me if I wanted a white notebook or a coloring one, most of the times i picked the white one, I suppose that from there I had a lot to communicate.

I was the queen of the "talk a lot in class" label throughout elementary school, then I found out that my desire to talk helped other girls to be less introverted.

​

I went to Catholic elementary and middle school, it wasn't nice because divorced teen dads weren't very popular in the 80s, then mom found love and the family had a restructuring, which came with a change to a secular school, with very high academic standards that i knew nothing about, like Rory Gilmore at Chilton, I suffered a bit at first, but it all worked out. I was always sure that design was my path, (I didn't even know it was design but it sounded good) and when the time came, it was very easy to choose a professional path in one of the best and most beautiful universities in Mexico.

After 4 happy years and countless sleepless nights at Kinko's, I graduated, and real life started right away. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Before this graduation, my sister was born, which is the most precious gift my mother has given me, she was born when I was 22 years old and has been the light of my eyes ever since).

Once I started working, everything has been a lot of fun, with some sadness and frustrations of course, we are talking about adult life over here. I have always sought to improve myself, advance, undertake, be the best employee, I really like to work and I think it is important to mention that I am happy doing what I do, for me design is very important, it gives me a feeling of peace when I see something nice tidy and well done, something that show someone behind working with passion and dedication.

After studying design, I felt that something else was missing from the equation, I needed to know more to be able to make a logo, who was going to buy the things and that was why I started working in marketing and from there everything made more sense to me, because To create beautiful flowers, you need roots, a trunk and solid branches that make the flowers look beautiful and well you get my point.

​

It's been 14 years since I started working and the truth is that you never stop learning, it's a cliché but it's true and in conclusion, that's me.
